"As Dhamma is learned with the heart not the brain, we need the mind with right quality first. As Dhamma is the learning of oneself, the subjects of study are all within this body and mind. Practitioners have no other duty but to see their own mind, feel what it feels. As soon as mindfulness arises, defilements will fall away. We have no business in pushing away defiements, we only have to know when unwholesomeness thoughts arise... when wholesomeness thoughts arise..." Dhamma by Ajahn Prasan Buddhakulsomsiri in Mindfulness and Insight Meditation Course, March 2016 |
